Calendars: Naming Conventions
Article G130
Calendar Best Practices

Name change: Personal Calendar Original
Never change the name of a personal calendar. If the name gets changed to something like 'Bill's Calendar', then it will get corrupted and you need to refer to the Calendar Problems document.

Name change: Personal Calendar Copy (Alias)
It is okay and recommended to change the name of the alias of a shared personal calendar on the desktop of the person who has the copy, so it is clear for the second person which calendar is their own, and which calendar is the shared calendar.

Calendar Creation: Shared Group Calendar
If a calendar is to be shared among a group of people, it is better to have the calendar created by an FC administrator. This guards against the issue of the 'calendar creator' leaving the organization and the original calendar being deleted when the account is deleted.
