WIN Pricing Model
How We Price Our Services
The information on this page is for informational purposes only, and does not in any way constitute a binding quote for services. Prices are subject to change, and individual Client requirements may incur charges not covered here.

The pricing model used by WhatIf Networks is based upon the resources required to host, serve, and/or develop the requested service or solution. Although our model is consistent, the specific needs of our clients often cover a wide range of services and custom environments. As a result, we work with potential clients to develop a cost/benefit solution that provides them with quality service at an affordable rate.

If you would like to request a quote for any of our services, you can either contact us directly by phone or email, or fill out our Inquiry Form. A representative will get back to you quickly to determine how we can best assist you.

The following is some general information on how we construct a quote for our services:

ITEM
DESCRIPTION
Shared Server
WhatIf Networks offers a range of Software as a Service solutions that provide you with secure space in a shared server environment. This means that although your accounts and information are separate, the service is run from a single FirstClass® server. Many clients find this approach suits both their needs and their budget. Typical pricing is based on:

  • Number of accounts (annual charge)
  • Support (annual charge)
  • Service Setup (one-time charge)

Each account is generally allocated a 100 MB email quota. Shared or individual storage for large files, email archiving, and other services are available.
Standalone Server
WhatIf Networks will host your dedicated, standalone server in a virtual environment. Our VMWare® system with associated NetApp® and HP® network storage provide reliable, secure, and consistent access to your FirstClass® environment. Typical pricing is based on:

  • FirstClass® Server Hosting (annual charge)
  • Network Storage Allocation (annual charge)
  • Clustered/Off-Core Service Application Hosting (annual charge)
  • Support (annual charge)
  • Service Management (annual charge)
  • Service Setup (one-time charge)

Not all of the above charges may apply, depending upon your needs. The key factors to establishing pricing are the size, scope, and usage requirements of your service.
Co-Located Server
WhatIf Networks will host your client-owned hardware running your FirstClass® server. Our typical co-location arrangement includes management, administration, disaster recovery, and associated services in our state-of-the-art data center, but we are just as happy giving it a place to live. Typical pricing is based on:

  • Hardware Rack Profile (annual charge)
  • Hardware Management (annual charge)
  • Software/Service Management (annual charge)
  • FirstClass® Administration (annual charge)
  • Support (annual charge)
  • Installation and Setup (one-time charge)

Not all of the above charges may apply, depending upon your needs. We offer a full range of co-location services, from maintaining the server to running FirstClass® so you don't have to.
Existing Applications
WhatIf Networks has developed a library of workflow applications and database connectors that we can implement on both hosted and external servers. We can make minor changes to branding and field structure to meet your needs. Typical pricing is based on:

  • Application (one-time charge)
  • Modifications (one-time charge)
  • Installation and Setup (one-time charge)
  • Support (annual charge)

Not all of the above charges may apply, depending upon your needs. Modifications to existing workflow applications are charged as an hourly rate, and are quoted based upon client specifications.
Custom Applications
WhatIf Networks has a team of skilled, experienced FirstClass® experts who can work with you to build a custom workflow application for your FirstClass® server. We can integrate FirstClass with your SIS, organizational DB, or other external service, or just provide you with tools to manage your environment. Typical pricing is based on:

  • Development Time (one-time charge)
  • Installation and Setup (one-time charge)
  • Support (annual charge)

Our quotes are based upon client specifications, and charged as an hourly rate for development time. We typically start with an assessment process to determine what restrictions may be placed on the product. If our assessment determines that the system can support FirstClass® access in line with the project specifications, that time is considered development.
Adminstration
WhatIf Networks is available to be your FirstClass administrator on both hosted and external servers. Since the level of required administration depends upon the staffing and size of your organization as well as the needs of your community, we have a flexible approach to suit your situation. Typical pricing is based on the needs of your organization.
Consulting
WhatIf Networks is an excellent resource for FirstClass® administrators who want to develop the application and realize more value in their communities. We are available for consultation on everything FirstClass® and more besides. Typical pricing is based on either a per-hour charge, or as a flat fee for unlimited consultation during a fiscal year.
Support
WhatIf Networks provides support to FirstClass® administrators across the country and around the world. Many of our other services require some level of support, although support is optional for applications and solutions installed on external servers. Typical pricing is based on either a per-hour charge per supported user, or as a flat fee for unlimited support per supported user during a fiscal year.
